"Last Child" milestone
I packed up my maternity clothes yesterday. Nevermind that they still fit; that milestone would have been way more fun. The nature of this milestone is that My last pregnancy is over officially. Usually when I pack up maternity clothes, they go into 2 piles; “give away” and “save for next time.” It was a little difficult mixing the things I love with the things hate. I considered saving a few “just in case” but that would not be in keeping with the spirit of things, now would it?
I plan to sell them on ebay; most of them are stylish and work with the summer/fall season (ladies who are newly pregnant right now in most of N America)
I’m debating- sell them in small lots or in one large lot. I think I”ll do it in one large lot because then I don’t have to deal with a bunch of packages and boxes everywhere. Maybe I’ll do one lot in size small and one lot in size Medium if I have enough mediums.
Since they still fit (pathetic, isn’t it?) I have to wait a few days until I cycle through all the laundry. I know my very favorite pants in the world right now are a pair of old navy maternity pants that I love love love except for the fact that they’re maternity and they fit so… nicely.
When this stuff sells I will go shopping for new (recycled) clothes. And I sure hope they don’t fit for long. A girl has to feel cute, right?
So- my positive thought for the day is…. I will never be this fat again.
